What we collect

Directly from you, we collect just one thing — your email address, when you sign up for the launch notification and newsletter.

If you consent to marketing cookies in the cookie banner, we additionally collect anonymized data about your behavior on the site (pages visited, device, approximate location) through the tools described below under Remarketing and advertising.

What we use the email for

We never sell your email or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Remarketing and advertising

Besides email, we use (or are gradually rolling out) remarketing tools — showing ads to people who've already visited the site, across ad and social networks. Specifically:

These tools store cookies in your browser and track which pages you visit, so they can later show you relevant ads elsewhere online. They only load after you consent to marketing cookies in the cookie banner — without consent, we collect no data for advertising purposes. You can change or withdraw consent anytime in the site's cookie settings.

Who processes it

Emails and newsletters are processed through Ecomail.cz (Ecomail.cz s.r.o.), our processor for sending them. You can unsubscribe anytime with one click in any email footer.

The site runs on Cloudflare. For anonymous traffic stats and remarketing we use Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, Pinterest Tag, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and possibly OpenAI advertising tools, and for cookie consent management, Cookiebot — all of these only load after you consent to the relevant cookie category.

International data transfers

Some of the providers listed above (Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, OpenAI) are headquartered outside the EU, typically in the US, and may process data there within their group. They typically rely on standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework to ensure a comparable level of protection to the EU. We don't knowingly transfer data outside these processors to any other third country.

Retention

We keep your email until you unsubscribe yourself, or ask us to delete it. Data from advertising and analytics cookies follows that tool's own retention period (typically up to 13 months for cookies, or per each network's own policies).

Security

Only the tools and people who actually need it have access to your data (us and the processors listed above). Data transfer on the site is always encrypted (HTTPS), and access credentials to our services are protected with standard security measures.

Upcoming online store

Once we launch an online store, we'll process additional order-related data — name, address, phone number, payment and delivery details — through new processors (payment gateway, courier, possibly an invoicing/accounting system), which will also involve different legal bases and retention periods (e.g. tax records typically kept for 10 years by law). We'll update this page at that point with the specific processors and purchase terms, including the right of withdrawal.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data — just email lukas@followlukas.com. You can withdraw consent to marketing and advertising cookies anytime in the site's cookie settings. You can also file a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).

Final provisions

We may update this policy from time to time, mainly as new tools are added and eventually the online store launches. The current version is always available on this page. Last updated: September 2026.
